Back at the Weekly world headquarters, I found my notes from last year's inaugual (this shot's from a year ago too). Just a quick scan over a couple notes and I've got slobber all over the keyboard and office phone: "Todd English - faux foie gras"; "Ming Tsai - tea-smoked salmon with wasabi emulsion and soy lime syrup" (!?...yes, it was that good); "Susan Spicer - curry crawfish with lime pickle salad on seeded flatbread." I can't take it any more - this'll have to be the final post for today, but tomorrow's demo-lunch-tasting combo should yield a motherlode of more saliva-summoning F&W events. We're just getting warm...
