F&W co-founder Rob Weakley - who imported what he learned helping choreograph the Masters of Food and Wine at Highlands Inn to Pebble Beach - was all smiles (trust me—this moment of seriousness was momentary) despite crisp conditions he hopes will thaw soon. I overheard him and a similarly jovial Bernahl gawking at the quality of wines on hand for a private opening event last night, before the pair left to follow the action by golf cart.
